The following is required for all reproductions, online or in print:
- The image must be high quality (200 DPI minimum)
- The image must not be altered in any way, including cropping, toning, enlarging, elongating, overprinting with text without prior written approval, or rearranging/collaging with other images. If color adjustments are needed, the Foundation will send an updated image
- For artwork by Francesca Woodman, irregular edges must be shown
- For gelatin silver prints, images must be in grayscale
- The image caption must be reproduced exactly as written in captions provided by the Foundation
- A copy of any printed publication and link to online publication must be sent to the Foundation for our archive
- The image must be credited in every instance as follows: © Woodman Family Foundation / Artists Rights Society (ARS), New York
Proofs must be submitted prior to publication. The same restrictions apply if a third party provides the image.
In order for the request to be processed, please fill in the form below as completely as possible. If you are unable to submit your request online using the form, please email the proposal to info@woodmanfoundation.org. The Foundation will review submitted information and will be in touch as soon as possible.
The Foundation has the right to reject the request at any time.
