Beginning with Albert Dürer’s Êtude de draperie, an exceptional drawing in the museum’s collection, this exhibition explores the enduring fascination with drapery among artists from the Renaissance through the 20th century. Photographs and diazotypes by Francesca Woodman are shown alongside drawings, photographs and sculptures by Rodin, Christo & Jeanne-Claude, Degas and others.
The exhibition is accompanied by a fully illustrated catalogue.
