This exhibition delves into the depths where imagination meets reality, considering ways the sea has been a source of adventure and destruction throughout history. The show explores the ocean through three themes: The Sea Between Art and Science, The Sublime and Mythological Sea, and The Anthropocene Sea. Five metaphoric photographs featuring eels and shells as props by Francesca Woodman are showcased alongside works by Georgia O'Keeffe, Caspar David Friedrich, Wolfgang Tillmans, El Anatsui, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, among others.
